Who operates OrgBots
The AECE Studio is a business name registered in Nigeria and operates this website. For privacy questions or requests, email theaece@theaecestudio.com.
Website delivery and security
This is a static product website without user accounts, payment forms, advertising, or uploaded customer content. Cloudflare and our website host process connection details, including IP address, request path, browser information, and time, to deliver pages, prevent abuse, and diagnose errors. Our basis for this limited processing is our legitimate interest in operating a secure, reliable website. Origin access logs rotate daily with 14 retained rotations; this is not a retention limit for Cloudflare's separate security records.
Cloudflare may use essential security cookies and network-error reporting. Its privacy policy describes its processing. These services may process data outside Nigeria. Their processing and international-transfer arrangements are separate from the information stored locally by the OrgBots application.
Optional analytics
Optional analytics is currently disabled. The website does not load its analytics script or store an analytics consent preference. “Privacy choices” in the footer shows this status. If analytics is introduced, this policy and the choices shown to visitors will be updated before it starts collecting measurements.
Email and website backups
If you contact us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments. We use them to respond to your request and retain relevant correspondence while resolving it, or where records must be kept for a legal claim or obligation. Do not send passwords, provider keys, or private project files unless they are necessary and a suitable transfer method has been agreed.
Website recovery copies contain the published pages and website hosting configuration. They are stored privately in the owner's Google Drive. They exclude visitor logs, contact messages, application rooms, and credentials.
Information on your computer
OrgBots is a desktop application. Room history, project workspaces, usage records, and settings are stored locally as part of the application’s operation. The application does not send this data to an OrgBots website account or service.
Provider connections
When you ask a provider tool to work, the prompts, selected project content, attachments, and tool results needed for that work may be sent to the configured provider or MCP service. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices. OrgBots does not control their retention or use.
On Linux, the workspace sandbox protects project writes but does not fully isolate readable host files, credentials, network access, or remote tools. Read the workspace safety guide and only connect tools and accounts you trust.
Backups and sensitive content
Portable backups are private, unencrypted files with a 64 MiB size cap. They can contain room and project information. Protect the backup file and its destination. Secrets pasted into agent history may remain in local records and should be treated as exposed to any provider that received them.
Your choices and rights
You choose the providers and tools configured in the desktop application. Provider-side copies and retention are governed by those providers. Local files can be managed through your operating system; preserve anything you still need.
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing. You may withdraw analytics consent at any time. Send a privacy request to theaece@theaecestudio.com; we may need proportionate information to locate your records and verify your request. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. These rights remain subject to the conditions and exceptions in applicable law.
Changes
This policy may change as the product or website changes. The date at the top identifies the current published revision.
